When you reserve an 8-night and 9-day Finland, Sweden, and Norway Northern Lights package with us, your arrival at Helsinki Airport marks the start of the first day. Our driver will be waiting for you outside after you have finished with customs and made any necessary announcements at the airport. You'll be picked up and driven to the hotel to complete the check-in process.
Day 2 : Have breakfast After leaving the hotel, you will have a tour of Helsinki and its surrounding region, Porvoo
Prepare for your Helsinki sightseeing tour by eating breakfast. Once you check out of the hotel, your baggage will stay in the car. Your 8-nights, 9-days vacation to Finland, which includes sightseeing, begins today.
Before visiting Helsinki, Finland's vibrant capital, take a guided beach trip to the charming village of Porvoo. Explore the iconic structures in Porvoo and Helsinki, such as the Olympic Stadium, Sibelius Park, and Uspensky Cathedral.
You'll find a guide awaiting you at Helsinki Harbor. The next stage is to board a luxury vehicle and go to Porvoo, the second-oldest city in Finland. Watch for the lovely red homes as your tour guide takes you down the shore. Visit the Town Square, a few neighborhood shops, and the Old Church.
It's time to return to Helsinki now that the excursion to Porvoo has come to an end. Take a bus tour along Grand Mannerheim Boulevard and Esplanadi Street to see the sights. From here, one can view the Parliament building, the National Museum, the Presidential Palace, and Finlandia Concert Hall.
Visit the park that bears Jean Sibelius' name, a legendary musician from Finland. Take a look at the sculpture known as the Sibelius Monument, which was created from a variety of steel pipes.
Following the park is the Olympic Stadium, which served as the venue for the 1952 Summer Olympics. We have now arrived to the Rock Church, a stunning building that was carved right into the rock face and has a copper dome on top. Day 3 : Checkout from Hotel + Drop to Helsinki Airport + Flight to Rovaniemi + Transfer from Rovaniemi airport to Hotel + rest for the day
In the morning, have breakfast and get ready for the pickup airport for your flight to Rovaniemi. Once you reach Rovaniemi airport, you will be picked up again for a drop to the Rovaniemi hotel.
After checking in to the hotel, have a rest and explore the surroundings on your own.
Rovaniemi became a city in 1960, and in 2006, it joined with other nearby towns to form one big city. As a consequence, its landmass expanded to 8,017 km2 (3,095 sq mi), making it the biggest metropolis in Europe. You can write letters with a Santa Claus stamp, celebrate entering the Arctic Circle, and kill time in the gift stores, winter activities, cafés, and more located in Santa's Main Post Office.
You will be picked up from the hotel when your Rovaniemi city tour and Santa Claus tour are complete. This three-hour evening excursion will take you to one of the best spots within easy reach of Rovaniemi for gazing at the Arctic night sky in search of the Northern Lights. Cross the countryside to a secluded area by the water's edge, where a warm Finnish tent and a roaring fire await. The next step is to keep an eye out for the lights with the help of a seasoned local guide. Day 5 : Checkout from Hotel + Drop to Helsinki Airport + Flight to Stockholm + Transfer from Stockholm airport to Hotel + rest for the day
In the morning, you will check out of the Rovaniemi hotel after breakfast.Today is the second day of your 9 days tour package of Finland, Sweden, and Norway. You will be dropped off at Rovaniemi international airport, from where you will take a flight to Stockholm. You will be picked up from the Stockholm airport and taken to your hotel.

Day 6 : Stockholm city tour + Amazing Vasa Museum
Today, you will travel to Stockholm for a narrated city tour. View the Royal Palace, the Opera House, and the home of Alfred Nobel. Visit Stockholm City Hall as well, which serves as the site of the Nobel Prize dinner. The most popular museum in Sweden, the Vasa Museum, which houses the warship Vasa, is our next stop. Later, spend some free time around Gamla Stan, the historic district.
The Vasa is a priceless work of art and the best-preserved ship from the seventeenth century in existence. The ship is more than 98 percent original, and hundreds of carved sculptures adorn it.
The 69-meter-long battleship Vasa perished in Stockholm Harbor in 1628 during her first voyage before being rescued 333 years later, in 1961. The ship has been gently, thoughtfully, and meticulously repaired for almost 50 years, bringing it close to its former magnificence. The three masts on the roof of the specially constructed museum display the original mast height of the ship.
Around the ship, there are many displays covering subjects like shipboard life and its historical setting. There are many language versions of the Vasa movie.
