Bali tour package with Parents - My Journey

Hello, dear readers! I’m Thirtha Puttaswamy, and I recently embarked on an unforgettable journey to Bali with my parents. Hailing from Bangalore, our vacation was not just any trip; it was a special opportunity for my elderly parents to relax and have a great time. Every year, I make it a point to take my parents on a vacation, and 2023 was no exception. I was on a quest to find the perfect destination where my parents could be comfortable and create beautiful memories.

My friend Neeta, who was also planning a family vacation, suggested Bali. Her brother-in-law had recently honeymooned in Bali with the help of Lestacworld.com, and they had an incredible experience. In September 2023, the day of our much-anticipated journey finally arrived. We boarded Malaysia Airlines for our flight to Bali, a comfortable and convenient choice compared to other airlines on the same route.

Upon our arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Oka Giantara, the local Indonesian team manager from Lestacworld. Oka’s hospitality and expertise instantly put us at ease. He efficiently facilitated our check-in process at the Merusuka Beach Resort and provided valuable insights about our upcoming tour.

Our family fell in love with the Merusuka property, especially the serene Nusa Dua area. It quickly became our home away from home, and we relished every moment of our five-night stay there.

Our official tour began on the second day of our trip, and one of the first things that struck us was the breathtaking beauty of Bali’s beaches. Among them, Padang Padang Beach captured our hearts, and I couldn’t resist taking a dip in the sea, a departure from the usual hesitancy of most Indian tourists.

We were not particularly interested in the crowded tourist spots with long queues. What made our experience truly exceptional was the flexibility offered by Lestacworld’s local team. They helped us explore off-the-beaten-path destinations that weren’t on our initial itinerary.

One of my most profound reasons for choosing Bali was to seek the services of a Balinese healer for my father’s mysterious ailment. With Oka’s assistance as our translator and guide, we embarked on a journey to meet the healer, Jro Wayan Wiastika, in Denpasar. Our visit left us profoundly satisfied, as my father emerged feeling more positive about his health.

As a family of avid non-vegetarians, we indulged in the rich and diverse local cuisine of Bali at every opportunity. Our driver, a wonderful companion throughout our journey, often recommended the best dishes for us to try, and we eagerly followed his advice. We were particularly impressed by the impeccable service of our driver, who went above and beyond to make our culinary experiences in Bali exceptional.

During our trip, our driver introduced us to some culinary gems. He got us delicious fish satay from a local vendor on the way to Tirta Gangga and mouthwatering pork satay near Seminyak Beach. These were the best satay we had ever tasted, and we couldn’t get enough.

We also had the pleasure of dining at an amazing restaurant, which our driver took us to. The name of this amazing place is “no name”,it was located near Uluwatu. The food and ambiance were outstanding, and it was a dining experience we won’t soon forget.

One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to Potato Head Beach Club. We had pre-booked our time slot, and the ambiance that evening was nothing short of magical. The club’s vibrant atmosphere and stunning ocean views made for an unforgettable evening of relaxation and entertainment.
