Located on the Western Ghats at an elevation of 1600 meters above sea level, this hill station is one of the most well-known in India. Miles and miles of continuous tea plantations characterize this town. On the way, stop at Cheyyappara, the Valara Waterfalls, and the Karadipara Lookout. Stay at the hote in Munnar for the night.

After breakfast, sightseeing in the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr ensued. Nilgiri Tahr can see clearly from this vantage point. Later, visit a tea factory and tea museum, the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam (entry charges an extra fee). You will check out of your hostel the following morning after breakfast, and then continue your travels to Thekkady, which is also known as the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
